A$AP Rocky has opened up about the ongoing speculation regarding his relationship with Drake, expressing a clear stance on their past camaraderie.
“I just don’t f***k with him,”stated the rapper, who referred to Drake’s prior insults aimed at Rihanna as
“soft.”
Following the release of Rocky’s new album, Don’t Be Dumb, conversations resurfaced surrounding potential disses in the track “Stole Ya Flow.” Many fans suggest this song directly addresses Drake, which reignited discussions that have lingered for years.
“First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b***/ I can’t trust a soul, just my pole and my kids / Swear to never lie, cross my heart, hope to die, uh / Then I sold the switch, then I hit it with a kiss, mwah,”
“N***as gettin’ BBLs, lucky we don’t body-shame/ Throwin’ dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game,”
the lyrics continued, hinting at Drake in a roundabout manner.
During a recent interview with Ebro Darden for Apple Music, Rocky noted that while there may be underlying tension, the drama might be exaggerated.
“I think hip-hop tactics and beefs is, like, WWF. It’s like wrestling all the way, right? But this thing between us, it’s not real smoke,”
“But I just don’t f— with him.”
Once upon a time, Rocky and Drake shared mutual respect as Drake had Rocky join the Club Paradise tour in 2012, marking their collaboration on the hit track “F—in’ Problems.” However, Rocky admitted their friendship has since deteriorated, attributing it to
