Angel Massie is addressing fan opinions that she intentionally placed her Real Housewives of Potomac castmates in a rental with unreliable water as she prepares for the next episode. Gizelle Bryant will openly criticize her hosting skills for “failing miserably.”

The picturesque trip in the Rockies turned tumultuous when it was revealed that only select cast members were housed at Massie’s home, with others relegated to a separate rental an hour away.

To add to the discontent, the rental experienced random water outages during their stay, intensifying frustrations among the cast.

On a recent episode of the #RHOP After Show, cast members, including Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Jassi Rideaux, Stacey Rusch, and Monique Samuels, expressed dissatisfaction with the accommodations.

“From the start, it just kind of put a sour taste,” said Monique, recounting how the details of their living arrangements were not disclosed until after arriving. “I was so confused. I do not like going out of my home state to be with someone else and not know what the hell is going on.”

She added,

“To literally start the trip off without being given a heads up about like, ‘Hey, this is what the accommodations are gonna be,’ it was hard to really settle after that.”

Ashley concurred, describing her dismay, especially upon realizing that Massie's residence, where only Keiarna and Tia were invited, was located a considerable distance away.

“I’m sure that there are homes that could have been within the vicinity,” she remarked. “Like, sis, if you didn’t want us to come—which would’ve been fine by me—you should’ve said that.”

Wendy expressed her confusion as well, stating,

“None of this makes any sense. I just don’t understand the purpose of this trip. If the purpose of the trip was for us to see your acres in Colorado… where the hell’s her house?”

In a follow-up response, Angel provided clarification on the matter.

Angel explained that the Colorado getaway was initially intended for couples, geared towards activities that would involve both men and women. Due to scheduling conflicts and limited housing options during the peak tourist season, she made decisions about guests based on her comfort level.

Ultimately, she asserted,

“I decided who was gonna stay at my home based off of my comfortability.”

Support from fellow new housewife Tia Glover also emerged during the After Show, emphasizing that Angel was distressed over the water issue.

“She felt really badly about it,” said Tia. “We cannot paint this picture like she didn’t deliberately put you in a house with no hot water. She was crying because she thinks that you lot are gonna think that it’s malicious.”

Regarding the water difficulties, Angel mentioned she was unaware of the issue's extent until talking to Jazzy Harris.

“The only reason that I knew something happened is because I spoke to Jazzy and the first thing she says is, ‘Girl, I’m in a house full of angry women,'” said Angel. “I was like, ‘Why are they angry now?’ and she was like, ‘Girl it’s no water.’ At that point, I get off the phone with her, and I immediately start trying to figure out different situations where they could be more comfortable because I don’t want people uncomfortable on my watch at the end of the day.

Continuing, she related,

“I can understand frustration when you wake up first thing in the morning, and you’re supposed to be doing something that day, and you don’t have water. It’s discombubalting. I did all the things I could do to make them comfortable.”

Angel elaborated further on the situation during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

When Andy inquired if she ever considered hosting the entire cast at her home, she replied firmly,

“Never for a second,” said Angel, reiterating the space constraints. “My kids and my husband were there, had plans gone originally, we probably all would have been in the same spot. It just wasn’t enough big, big homes left.”

Andy also asked if dividing the group might alter the trip's dynamics, to which Angel responded negatively, believing the group would enjoy daytime activities and return to their respective places at night.

Despite Angel’s defenses, Gizelle's harsh criticism of the accommodations is expected in the upcoming episode of #RHOP.

A preview reveals Angel providing the ladies with a private jet ride amid further tensions. In a moment of confrontation, Angel questions Monique Samuels regarding checking in with her partner to watch their children.

“They don’t know my husband, they don’t know my marriage, they haven’t spent time with us,” a clearly frustrated Angel remarks.

Subsequently, Gizelle is shown expressing her frustration about the living arrangements.

“We were rooting for you! “ says Gizelle. “Angel told us that we were going to stay at our house number one. She had no intentions of us staying there. She didn’t even have any intentions of us staying at a house all together, right? Okay, but you’re supposed to be Miss Colorado, and you, you got ends in every pocket.”

Gizelle continues her rant in a confessional.

“I can never recall in my life, even in my 20s, when I was in college, and I didn’t have much money in my pocket, living like this. We need to be able to s***, shower, and shave–we can’t do none of it. Angel, you have failed miserably.”

As the group boards the private jet, Angel attempts an apology, but is quickly cut off by Gizelle.

“I wanted to start off by saying, I am so sorry about your accommodations…” begins Angel.

“Too late! Too late!” interrupts Gizelle.
