Anthony Anderson and Rocsi Diaz are igniting speculation about their relationship following their appearance together on Golden Globes night, and this time, they embraced the dating topic.
The Black-ish actor and the former host of 106 & Park were seen departing Netflix’s exclusive after-party on Sunday evening, walking side-by-side. When directly questioned about their relationship status by TMZ, Anderson didn’t dismiss the suggestion. Instead, he smiled and remarked,
“She’s my date for the evening.”
The pair was followed by photographers as they walked hand-in-hand outside Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in Beverly Hills, looking very much like a couple. Anderson donned a classic black tuxedo with a bowtie, while Diaz captivated in a stunning floral dress that harmonized with the post-Globes glam.
This outing has reignited the romance rumors that surfaced last year when the duo was spotted on several seemingly intimate outings. Although neither has publicly confirmed a relationship, Anderson indicated their connection is substantial.
“We go back almost 20 years,” he stated during their recent outing.
Their long-standing friendship traces back to Rocsi’s days as a host on BET’s 106 & Park, where Anderson was a guest. Even back then, viewers could see the chemistry blossoming between them, despite Anderson being married to his ex-wife, Alvina Stewart, at the time.
Fast forward to the present, with Anderson’s 2023 divorce finalization possibly paving the way for a new chapter, explaining why they have been seen together more often recently.
Despite the affectionate hand-holding and flirtatious banter, neither Anderson nor Diaz is officially defining their relationship just yet. For the moment, it appears they are enjoying letting rumors run wild while relishing a glamorous night out together.
