Aoki Lee Simmons is soaking up the sun in Bali and it appears she's in no rush to head back to the U.S.! The 23-year-old lifestyle influencer recently shared her bliss through an Instagram Story, asserting her carefree attitude. "Move back to the US this. Move back to the US that. I get to wear a backless sundress every single day & I never have to wear shoes," she joyfully captioned a mirror selfie, as highlighted by The Jasmine Brand. "The answer is no."
Yet, she still expresses her love for friends and family, sharing glimpses of her stunning tropical home. Aoki's father, Russell Simmons, has made Bali his home since 2018, relocating after facing serious allegations in the United States.
The family dynamics have clearly experienced turbulence, especially regarding Aoki, her sister Ming, and their mother, Kimora Lee.
Russell Simmons Allegations
In 2023, Kimora took to social media to publicly accuse Russell of threatening her children's lives, sharing her distress about the impact these allegations have had on Aoki. "I'm so sorry to have to do this. But this man has been threatening my kids' lives. I'm hearing so much more now. We won't be bullied, threatened, or afraid," she stated, showcasing her determination to protect her daughters.
She shared a recording of Aoki speaking to Russell, who was reportedly yelling at her during the call. "Every time I spoke to you, you would yell and scream about a legal situation that I can't even respond to because I AM NOT INVOLVED," Aoki reminded him during the emotional interaction.
Russell Simmons has faced multiple accusations of sexual assault from numerous women, allegations he continues to refute.
