The tension between two of hip-hop’s hottest artists has reached a boiling point as Boosie Badazz responds to the recent jabs thrown by Kodak Black. In a fiery new single titled "Christmas Eve," Kodak doesn’t hold back, accusing Boosie of bitterness over his success.
On this latest track, Kodak asserts, "I used to look up to Boosie he hate I got more bread that old head stupid… you don’t even move like ah OG… couldn’t sign me you got cold, yea you know me." It’s clear this wasn’t just a friendly jab!
As news of the diss circulated, Boosie took to X (formerly Twitter) to unleash his discontent. He expressed his frustration, especially as he's facing looming legal issues related to a federal gun case.
In a scathing post, Boosie wrote, "U wait until the day before I go to court to drop a weak a*s diss song. Lol U A #CCCH (Clout Chasing Crackhead). U know what I got going and you do this day before court. 100% you are a clown. Its still not go get people to f*ck with your music."
Why Do Boosie Badazz & Kodak Black Have Beef?
The drama escalates as Boosie declares, "When was the last time you heard somebody say 'put on that new Kodak?' Your career is over!! Only time you were relevant was when you mentioned me. You still mad you did that song, and I blew you down."
He continued with biting remarks, proclaiming, "You a lame now and your music sh*ts. Anyway, I got court tomorrow, but I'm sure you know that. I know you gonna be holding the phone like Pookie off New Jack city waiting on some bad news!"
Boosie previously claimed during a 2024 interview that there’s no real animosity between him and Kodak. However, his reactions suggest otherwise, particularly after Kodak collaborated with the controversial rapper 6ix9ine, prompting Boosie to label him the "most immature 40-year-old ever".
With diss tracks like "Christmas Eve" continuing to drop, the tension shows no sign of easing in the hip-hop community.
