In 2022, Cardi B successfully sued Tasha K (real name Latasha Kebe) for defamation, resulting in a multi-million dollar judgment over false assertions regarding STIs and drug abuse. Following Tasha K's bankruptcy filing, she entered into a five-year repayment agreement, committing to pay Cardi B approximately $1.2 million and refrain from any derogatory remarks.
Despite this settlement, Tasha K has continued her commentary about the rapper online, recently addressing charges against Cardi's boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.
Cardi recently took to X to support the NFL player against claims from a former employee alleging he choked and slapped her during a salary dispute. After posting a now-deleted screenshot of an alleged text from Diggs’ accuser, Tasha K publicized claims that Cardi could be in danger of facing witness intimidation charges.
