In the aftermath of Nipsey's death, Dupri took to social media with a thought-provoking statement: "I believe Nip was Jesus." This comparison resurfaced as rapper Curtiss King discussed Dupri's contentious view with his mother, a Christian minister, on his podcast, generating a wave of reactions once more.
While reactions have been mixed, with some critical and others more receptive, King's mother offered an interesting perspective: "People's understanding of who Jesus is varies.
