Charlamagne Tha God Shakes Up A$AP Rocky's Drake Disses on New Album Release!

A$AP Rocky and Drake have been embroiled in tension for years, and it seems like everyone, including Charlamagne Tha God, is getting a bit weary of it. Following the release of Rocky’s latest album, Don't Be Dumb, the drama resurfaced, especially with winks and jabs directed at Drake in tracks like "STOLE YA FLOW."

During a discussion on The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne questioned the obsession with identifying who Rocky is dissing, stating, "How y'all know that was about Drake? I'm just asking, I don't know, I didn't hear what was [said]." As co-host Loren LoRosa pointed out numerous hints in Rocky's lyrics — from BBL references to claims of biting styles and their shared romantic history with Rihanna — Tha God took a different stance.

"Every time I hear something about A$AP Rocky's music, it's him dissing Drake," Charlamagne expressed. "Does anybody ever be like, 'Yo, A$AP's music is just good'? I don't never hear that anymore. It's always about dissing Drake." This sentiment reflects the fatigue many feel regarding the ongoing feud overshadowing Rocky's artistry.

While LoRosa insisted that there's far more depth to Don't Be Dumb than merely dissing Drake, it's hard to ignore how this longstanding beef continues taking center stage.

What Sparked the Beef Between A$AP Rocky and Drake?

This narrative of conflict between A$AP Rocky and Drake feels almost inevitable with the appearance of new music. The duo, once closely connected through collaborations like "F**kin' Problems" alongside 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, have seen their bond fray over time.

Fans speculate that A$AP Rocky's relationship with Rihanna may have caused rifts around the turn of the decade, but concrete details on their fallout are scarce, leaving much to the imagination.

Regardless, it's clear that even Charlamagne Tha God, amidst his critiques, is ready for a change in the conversation surrounding both artists, expressing his weariness of the unending subliminals.
