Last month, Christian Keyes made waves on social media when he announced that his show All The Queen’s Men would not be returning to BET. "The good news is that there are already multiple, wonderful studios and streaming companies interested in the prequels, and the spin-off show," he shared optimistically. "So, the ATQM universe will continue with new casting and great leadership. The show will go on and land somewhere amazing!"
However, in a recent livestream, Keyes took the opportunity to vehemently call out his show's co-creator, Tyler Perry. He expressed his frustration without holding back, as listeners tuned in to hear his grievances.
“I’m not sad that my show isn’t there anymore. After season five, it will be gone. I won’t have to deal with shady leadership that would dare to take my credit. I have a contract that states I get credit! Why is he trying to steal it? ‘Cause he can’t write like me,” Keyes exclaimed passionately.
Why Did 'All The Queen's Men' Get Canceled?

Keyes further alleged that the show was intended to feature eight 30-minute episodes. But Perry allegedly intervened, increasing the duration to 10 hour-long episodes. Keyes claims he was eventually cut out of the writing process altogether.
“That’s when things got weird,” he detailed, claiming Perry “completely changed the integrity” of the show. "Season two and three were when All the Queen’s Men got strange. Scenes involving graphic content became prevalent, and I don't think viewers wanted that,” Keyes explained, adding, “Let that stay on your other shows like ‘Oval’ or ‘Bruh’.”
