South African DJ and producer Chymamusique has publicly shown support for social media influencer Athini Bashe following his highly publicized breakup with former fiancée Ntandokazi Mzamo.
The split between the popular online couple continues to stir conversations on social media, especially after a viral video depicted Bashe in visible distress on the side of a road in Bryanston.
The video, which appeared on X earlier this week, purportedly recorded by a passing motorist, showed an emotional Bashe crying beside his parked car, shirtless, until paramedics arrived to assist him.
This footage sparked speculation regarding Bashe’s emotional well-being and raised questions about the abrupt end to his relationship with Mzamo.
While the reason for their breakup remains unclear, the public response has been quick and polarized, with many expressing worry for Bashe.
In a unique display of compassion, Chymamusique opted to reach out with help rather than opinions.
On Thursday, January 22, the musician made an open invitation to Bashe, offering him access to professional support and a healing environment.
“If anyone knows BASH personally, please connect us with him. We would like to offer him tickets to ECUE MEN’S CAMP 5.0 and fully paid therapy to help him recover,” Chymamusique posted.
The DJ’s gesture prompted mixed reactions online, with some praising him for advocating mental health among men, while others expressed skepticism, questioning the permanence of the breakup.
One user humorously remarked, “She will say sorry, and he will go back to her.”
Another added, “Lol, we know Bash personally and live with him in the Estate…he doesn’t need ANY of the things you’re offering. You people are having a nice time over FALSE NEWS.”
If anyone knows BASH personally please connect us with him , we would like to offer him tickets to ECUE MENS CAMP 5.0 & fully paid therapy to help him recover.
