Dthang's Miami Arrest: A Troubled Rapper Faces More Legal Troubles

Dthang, known for his controversial career, is once again in hot water as he was arrested in Miami on multiple gun charges. Reports indicate that details surrounding the arrest are still emerging.

This recent incident isn't Dthang's first run-in with the law. Back in September, he also found himself in custody in Miami, facing charges for possessing marijuana, cocaine, and, crucially, a firearm—a significant violation given his status as a convicted felon.

The Bronx rapper has a lengthy legal history as highlighted by a 2022 indictment involving a staggering 65 counts stemming from a series of shootings in New York City. These included serious charges such as conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, attempted assault, and illegal possession of a weapon.

Dthang's Legal Troubles

Your attention goes further as there were serious allegations tied to the indictment, implicating animal cruelty. It was reported that several individuals streamed a horrific act of killing a pigeon on social media, linking it to gang activities.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark expressed grave concern over the escalating gun violence, stating, “These defendants allegedly engaged in gun violence, committing six shootings, one which injured a rival gang member. They allegedly fired wildly in the streets without regard for the lives of anyone else.”

Clark urged rebellious artists to rethink their influence, saying, “I am calling on rappers from the Bronx to stop using music to encourage shootings and use it to better the community. We need to collaborate to find ways to prevent further violence.”
