Fetty Wap recently made waves with his first interview since his release from prison on The Breakfast Club, where he expressed heartfelt thanks to his family and industry peers for their unwavering support during his time behind bars. Notably, he gave a huge shoutout to none other than 50 Cent, who played a significant role in his journey.
"Man, 50, I don’t even know where to start with him," Wap said, diving into the profound impact 50 had on him. This heartfelt discussion kicks off about 6:30 into the interview.
Wap recounted, "50 did a lot for me. From day one, he reached out saying, 'Yo, whatever you need, just holla at me.' I’m like, 'All right.'" He was genuinely surprised by the financial and emotional support 50 offered. "He was right there for me. He answered every call, and right up until my release, he kept checking in: 'How you getting home?' His help was monumental for both my finances and mental health. He kept reminding me, 'Stop f***ing up.' That’s just 50—no filter, just the truth."
