Oh, Funko Pop. What have you done? It appears that the popular collectible might have inadvertently revealed a significant plot point for the second season of Amazon's Fallout adaptation.
Beware of spoilers for Fallout Season 2 below.
Images of a new Funko Pop based on Amazon's Fallout series have emerged online, seemingly depicting Macaulay Culkin's character, Lacerta Legate, as Caesar. This indicates that he may become the leader of the notorious faction known as Caesar's Legion.
Caesar's Legion is a pivotal force in Fallout: New Vegas, a major influence on the show's upcoming second season.
In the series, the audience meets Caesar's Legion when the naive vault dweller Lucy gets captured by them. The situation escalates as she faces severe consequences for her actions. The Legion is currently embroiled in a civil war, ignited by the death of its founder, leaving two contenders vying to become the new Caesar.
However, neither contender resembles the upcoming Caesar Funko Pop, which resembles Culkin's character rather closely. This suggests that events in the next episodes may lead to Lacerta Legate rising to power.
In Fallout: New Vegas, players have the option to either cure Caesar of his illness or eliminate him. Should he die, his loyal leader Lucius ascends, at least until the finale resolves the power struggle.
Do you want Lacerta Legate to lead Caesar's Legion in the Fallout show?
Fallout was renewed for a third season in May last year, ahead of Season 2's debut. Recently, Todd Howard from Bethesda confirmed that the third season is being scripted, with filming scheduled to begin this May.
Currently, new episodes of Season 2 are airing weekly on Amazon Prime. In terms of future adaptations, Todd Howard hinted that an Elder Scrolls project could be on the table.
