Excitement is in the air as J. Cole recently unveiled details of his highly anticipated seventh studio album, The Fall-Off. Including captivating cover art and a thrilling cinematic trailer, fans are buzzing with anticipation. But that’s not all—Cole may have been planning this project for longer than anyone thought! Reports indicate that he secured a trademark for "The Fall-Off" back in October, encompassing music, clothing, and much more.
This news follows closely on the heels of the album's first single, "Disc 2 Track 2," which dropped along with an emotional music video. In the heartfelt message accompanying the release, J. Cole shared his dedication to the craft: "For the past 10 years, this album has been handcrafted with one intention: a personal challenge to myself to create my best work... despite the countless challenges along the way, I knew in my heart I would one day get to the finish line."
When Can Fans Expect The Fall-Off?
The Fall-Off is officially set to drop on February 6, and that isn’t the only treat in store for fans! In a recent episode of the Joe & Jada podcast, fellow artist Jadakiss teased future projects, claiming Cole has a mixtape in the works, featuring him rapping over classic beats from The Lox.
“He’s got a project coming out called The Fall-Off, and he’s got a mixtape where he used some of The Lox," Jadakiss revealed. "He rhymed over 'Money, Power Respect,' and he rhymed over 'Can I Live.' Killed them sh*ts. Cole is coming back in a major way.”
