Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has set social media abuzz after publicly taking a swipe at Amapiano musician Daliwonga in a heated post on X.
On Saturday, Malema shocked users when he tweeted, “Daliwonga don’t try me bastard!” without offering any explanation for the outburst.
The blunt message immediately sparked curiosity and debate, with many users questioning what had triggered the apparent fallout.
As speculation intensified, reports began circulating that the musician had allegedly failed to honour a booked performance at a club linked to Malema over the weekend.
According to online chatter, Daliwonga was expected to perform at Slageng, a Seshego-based club owned by Malema’s brother, Tshepo, but did not show up.
A flyer promoting the missed gig has since gone viral on X, fuelling further discussion and divided opinions as users weighed in on who was in the wrong.
