Kick Streamer Vitaly Faces Deportation After Controversial Jail Time in the Philippines

After a tumultuous nine months, Kick streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is preparing for his return to Russia following his release from a Philippine jail. Vitaly faced prison time for disturbing the peace, but now he awaits deportation, marking a dramatic chapter in his controversial journey as a content creator.

On Thursday, January 15, the Philippines' Department of the Interior and Local Government confirmed his upcoming deportation. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla emphasized the importance of respecting local laws for all visitors, stating, "Let this be a reminder to all our visitors here in the Philippines that we welcome tourists, but expect them to follow our laws just as we do abroad."

Remulla reassured that the country holds no grudge against Vitaly, acknowledging his remorse and freedom as he returns to his homeland. While some might be puzzled by his deportation despite a U.S. green card, authorities clarified that standard immigration procedures necessitate this action.

Vitaly is expected to depart the Philippines within a week, pending final clearance from the courts and the National Bureau of Investigation. Photos shared on Twitter by the user FearBuck captured him at the press conference detailing his deportation.

Why Did Vitaly Go To Prison?

For those unfamiliar with the events, Vitaly was arrested last year for unsettling the peace and harassing public officials and citizens during a livestream—actions that sparked significant public outcry. Known for stirring up trouble, this incident marked a troubling low in his streaming career.

Before this debacle, Vitaly had a history of collaborating with various rappers, though not without controversy. He claimed to have been scammed by Quavo for thousands, while others like YG and Ty Dolla $ign had joined his livestreams, attempting to capture alleged predators.

As Vitaly moves forward, fans are left pondering whether he will make a comeback in the spotlight or if this predicament will keep him away from the internet for an extended period. Regardless, the anticipation surrounding his future is palpable.
