On January 5, 2026, the vibrant Limpopo musician King Monada made waves on social media with his hilariously cheeky retort to a Zimbabwean prophet's concerning prophecy.
Recently, Zimbabwean cleric Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi, famously known as Mellontik Orasi, stirred controversy by claiming he foresaw Monada being involved in a car accident, casting a shadow over the popular artist's life amidst the unfortunate fate of several Limpopo musicians.
“Pray for King Monada, I see a road accident.”
Monada Hits Back with Humor
The prophecy went viral, capturing Monada's attention. Instead of being rattled, the musician responded with his own playful prediction: perhaps the prophet should pray for himself, as Monada humorously foresaw him encountering a similar fate.
“Pray for Dr Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi, I see a road accident….shanda phara trrrrr yonna yoo 🙌🏽”
Despite the lighthearted banter, the prophet remained resolute, reinforcing his prediction with a post stating:
“If by December next year it hasn’t happened, it means I spoke my mind!”
In a follow-up, he also shared a screenshot referencing the late rapper AKA's previous brush with similar prophecies.
