This week brought concerning news for hip-hop fans as Daz Dillinger took to social media to encourage support for his longtime friend Kurupt, who had been hospitalized.
"GOD SAID WE SHALL LIVE & NOT DIE 🚾," wrote Daz alongside touching images of Kurupt. He emphasized fans' love for the rapper, stating: "Flood his Instagram with messages. Let's uplift him, especially for all the loved ones we’ve lost along the way."

What Led to Kurupt's Hospitalization?
While Daz did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding Kurupt's hospitalization, what is clear is that the rapper will continue his recovery journey surrounded by love from fans and notable peers, including Royce Da 5’9″ and Treach.
Kurupt, however, is not new to health struggles; back in 2019, he faced challenges after relapsing on a reality show. His issues with alcohol led to significant health troubles, with Kurupt himself sharing in a 2022 interview on VladTV how alcohol affected his pancreas, liver, and kidneys.
