In an inspiring display of generosity, Bay Area rapper LaRussell has captivated fans and the music scene with his latest endeavor. Known for his relentless drive and vibrant persona, LaRussell is targeting a remarkable goal of selling 100,000 copies of his upcoming album, Something's In The Water, all while staying independently minded.
Fans can snag a copy for just .99 cents, but some celebrities are stepping up in a big way, one of whom is none other than NBA champion Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks.
During a recent livestream, LaRussell couldn't contain his astonishment when he revealed that Kyrie's support translated into a whopping $11,000 purchase. "I woke up this morning and there was a sale for $11,000. Who would do that? It was number 11 on the Mavericks!" he exclaimed.
LaRussell took the opportunity to express his gratitude directly to Kyrie, who reassured him, "You earned it... You work your a*s off, and I want to contribute to what you've got going on. I know you'll pay it forward."

Following this act of kindness, LaRussell has already begun to give back. He shared on his Instagram that he plans to use some of the funds to assist those in need by covering essential bills like PG&E, medical expenses, rent, and supplies. "I'm helping people with their bills this month! I'll be choosing people randomly who fill out the form in my bio!" he said.
Adding to the wave of support, iconic rapper Snoop Dogg also joined in by purchasing the album for $2,500. LaRussell expressed his gratitude, saying, "Uncle Snoop bought an album for $2,500!!!! It feels good knowing those who came before me respect my art and grind. I wouldn't be here without Snoop's influence!" To which Snoop replied, "Had 2 do it!!! Nefew @LaRussellGC changin tha game."
