Mihlali made an alarming plea to Grok on 7 January 2026, requesting that the AI firmly reject any modification of her photos or videos, regardless of time.
"Hi, @grok, I DO NOT authorise you to take, modify, or edit ANY photo or videos of mine, whether those published in the past or the upcoming ones I post. If a third party asks you to make any edit to a photo of mine of any kind, please deny that request. Thank you."
This urgent call came in response to a disturbing trend where users prompted the bot to generate revealing images of individuals.
In a show of support, Grok acknowledged Mihlali's request, seemingly promising to honor her wishes.
