NeNe Leakes has officially confirmed her return to Bravo in a heartfelt video filled with tears, expressing gratitude to her former co-stars and Andy Cohen.

The OG of Real Housewives of Atlanta made the announcement via Instagram with a video titled, "CONFIRMED! The Tastiest Peach Is Back," marking the conclusion of a "long, long journey" and revealing her disbelief at the news.

“I’m overjoyed, I almost can’t even believe that the words that are coming out of my mouth,” said NeNe, who expressed her excitement about returning to the network where she became a reality TV icon.

In her emotional message, NeNe thanked Bravo leadership, including Frances Berwick and Andy Cohen, as well as the production team at Truly Original. She also gave special mention to her fellow housewives, Porsha Williams, whom she referred to as her "little sister," and Phaedra Parks.

“All of you ladies who constantly say my name and keep my name in the ring, I appreciate you guys so much,” said NeNe.

NeNe's announcement sparked a wave of congratulations, including a message from Andy Cohen, who remarked, "Couldn’t celebrate 20 years without you."

Previously reported, NeNe is set to appear in The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, a new Bravo spinoff launching in 2026. Sources suggest she will be featured notably during production in Atlanta but won't participate in the entire journey. The series was revealed by Andy Cohen at BravoCon 2025 as a reimagining of Ultimate Girls Trip, shifting from international trips to exploring crucial cities in the franchise's 20-year history.

Her return follows a tumultuous relationship with NBCUniversal after her exit from Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2020 and a subsequent lawsuit alleging racism and a hostile work environment, which was later resolved in arbitration. NeNe has indicated that she and the company have reconciled.

In a prior interview, she mentioned that she was on "better terms" with NBCUniversal, citing her ongoing work at NBC events as proof of the improved relationship.

Andy Cohen Confirmed NeNe Leakes’ Return On His Radio Show

Andy Cohen also confirmed NeNe’s return on his show Andy Cohen Live, stating that she would appear on Ultimate Road Trip.

“She’s gonna be making an appearance,” said Andy about her role in the series, which will feature her when it reaches Atlanta.

“Listen, we are going to be celebrating 20 years of Housewives, and it would be hard not to without her,” he added. “And so I’m happy about it.”

He shared that he would reveal the full cast of the spinoff later tonight on Watch What Happens Live.

“A group of about seven or eight gals is gonna be going from town to town,” Cohen explained. “More will be revealed. In total, I think you may wind up by the end of the series, seeing 60 of your Housewives friends. Something like that. There’s gonna be a lot — it’s going to be amazing. I’m really excited about this.”
