Nicki Minaj has stirred the pot yet again with her recent remarks aimed at Don Lemon. She revealed that her provocative post was intentionally crafted to grab media attention. Using the now-infamous phrase "DON ‘C*CK SUCKIN’ LEMON" on X (formerly Twitter), Minaj expressed her frustration over Lemon's coverage of an anti-ICE protest at Cities Church in Minneapolis.
In a follow-up post, she quipped, "LOL!!! And I purposely wrote it that way b/c I knew that would be the only way to get the c*ck suckas to post about it. They would’ve all collectively ignored the despicable behavior displayed by Lemon head. I’m glad they’re angry. They’re about to get angrier." This playful yet pointed comment has electrified social media, generating a flurry of responses.
Don Lemon's Response To Nicki Minaj
Don Lemon didn’t hold back in his response to Minaj. During an interview with TMZ, he stated, "I think Nicki Minaj has made it very clear how she feels about African Americans in this country. I don't think she's one of them. Under Trump's rule, she should be deported. I don't think, reportedly, she is a legal citizen here. She is undocumented. So, she has shown her disdain for African Americans. Why are you supporting her?"
He further criticized Minaj for her apparent lack of understanding about politics and journalism, declaring, "Nicki Minaj is clearly out of her depth.” He even jested about her inclusion of a Chucky doll in her post, suggesting, "A better symbol that should have been represented in that picture is a pick me doll. Because Nicki Minaj is a pick me."
For his part, Lemon clarified that he has no ties to the demonstrators at Cities Church, reiterating that he was merely there to cover the protests occurring in Minneapolis.
