A major data breach has exposed 47 South Africans linked to controversial white supremacist dating platforms. The leaked profiles uncovered users fervently promoting white nationalist beliefs and searching for partners to uphold what they term the 'Aryan race.'
Open Promotion of Extremist Ideologies
Among the thousands of exposed users on sites like WhiteDate, WhiteChild, and WhiteDeal, at least 47 South Africans have been identified. The profiles illustrate a shocking openness regarding their extremist ideologies, including calls to increase their race's population. One 55-year-old user even emphasized that it is “vital” to boost Aryan birthrates and sought “traditional Aryan ladies” for companionship.
The vulnerability of these platforms is staggering; a security expert known by the pseudonym Martha Root discovered over 8,000 user profiles due to serious cybersecurity flaws, revealing personal information, images, and even embedded metadata from over 100 gigabytes of data.
According to IOL, numerous profiles openly articulate their racial motivations. A 27-year-old man from Limpopo identified himself as an “alpha male” committed to preserving a white bloodline, while a 49-year-old from Western Cape claimed white South Africans are facing persecution and was on the lookout for a partner “willing to save my white a$s.”
Desire to Preserve Heritage
Further analysis reveals alarming statements. A 57-year-old from Pretoria labeled himself a “racial socialist” in search of a “racially conscious” partner. Meanwhile, a 63-year-old from Durban indicated intent to communicate with Caucasian Slavic women to maintain his mixed heritage. Another Pretoria resident insisted that his community has “lost their culture” and was eager to find a “100% pure, intelligent, and proud white wife for life.”
Young men are also fervently pursuing these ideologies; a 23-year-old from East London denounced racial mixing, identifying as a “proud white nationalist” dedicated to his lineage. Similarly, a 38-year-old from Johannesburg voiced intentions to reconnect with white traditions. Although predominantly male, at least three female accounts were also uncovered.
