Whew, chileeee

Mess has never been more chaotic than in Netflix's plot-twisty limited series His & Hers, where truth navigates a dense maze of lies.

Set in Atlanta and its affluent suburb of Dahlonega, Anna (Tessa Thompson) finds herself in a reclusive haze, distancing from her friends and career as a news anchor.

However, a chance overhearing of a murder in her hometown revitalizes Anna's spirit, prompting her to dive into the investigation.

Detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal) harbors doubts about her involvement, trailing her through his own investigation in a series of electrifying events.

Directed by co-showrunners William Oldroyd and Anja Marquardt, the six-episode limited series features a notable cast, including Pablo Schreiber, Crystal Fox, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Marin Ireland, and Poppy Liu.

“Sometimes writing is a bit like falling in love, and I was obsessed with this story,” said author Alice Feeney, whose popular novel inspired the series.

“When I think about the journey this story has been on, from having the idea, to writing it in my shed, to seeing it published all over the world, and now seeing the characters come to life on screen, it feels nothing less than magic.”

Unsurprisingly, social media has erupted in excitement over the series, noted for having one of the most buzzed-about endings in recent times.

Ahead of the chaos, we caught up with Tessa Thompson who shared insights about the hit series, her research into news anchors, her affection for Atlanta, and more in our interview below:
