Video game enthusiast and archivist MrTalida shared their findings via Bluesky on January 13. An Internet Archive upload is now available for those curious about this unmade project, but potential viewers are advised to proceed with caution.
The recovered materials date back to between April 2009 and January 2010, indicating that the game was far from completion. The files include isolated gameplay ideas, audio systems, concept art, and development schedules.
Notably, there are fragments that exhibit an aesthetic reminiscent of Christopher Nolan's Batman films. Considering the timeline, it's plausible that this could have been a tie-in or a title existing outside the lore initiated by Rocksteady's Arkham Asylum in 2009.
