Xowié Launches 'Allo Deluxe' with Stonebwoy's 'No One' - A New R&B Era

South African R&B singer-songwriter Xowié has officially launched ALLO Deluxe today through Exodus Records. This release is a bold, emotionally rich evolution from her debut album, ALLO (A Little Long Overdue). The expanded edition enhances her artistic narrative with sharper storytelling, more profound emotional depth, and a confident sonic direction that signifies her emergence in global R&B.

Named Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist for May 2025, Xowié began her journey with ALLO as a rising star. With ALLO Deluxe, she firmly embraces her creative influence. The album tackles themes of love, personal boundaries, and self-identity with a sense of quiet confidence, showcasing a voice that is romantic yet now aware.

The executive production is handled by Grammy-award winner Andre “DreBombay” Harris, renowned for his collaborations with artists such as Kehlani, Alicia Keys, Jazmine Sullivan, and Justin Timberlake. DreBombay produced four of the album’s six tracks, working alongside Xowié in South Africa to translate her emotional expressions into a globally appealing sound.

One of the standout tracks is “No One,” a reggae-infused R&B piece featuring Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy. The collaboration blends Xowié’s soulful vulnerability with Stonebwoy’s rhythmic assertiveness, creating a warm, nostalgic sound that feels both familiar and distinctly her own.

“I grew up listening to reggae through my dad’s playlist. To finally make this kind of song and have someone like Stonebwoy on it felt full circle,” says Xowié.
“From the first listen, I felt the emotion in this song. It’s honest and grounded, and I’m proud to stand beside Xowié as she takes her sound to the world,” adds Stonebwoy.

A visualizer for “No One” accompanies the album, enhancing its warmth and intimacy through soft, cinematic visuals.

Where ALLO introduced her voice, ALLO Deluxe solidifies her role as an artist. Tracks such as “Brown Sugar” and “No One” delve into love and tenderness, while “My Time” and “Say It” assert boundaries with quiet resilience.

This project represents a pivotal moment in Xowié’s self-definition — as a woman, artist, and storyteller exhibiting clarity and conviction.

“Most of the time, the things I write about are conversations I’ve already had. Sometimes, I even write from the other person’s perspective. That kind of honesty helps me stay connected to the story and to myself,” she explains.

ALLO Deluxe is now available via Exodus Records on all major streaming platforms.
