50 Cent's 'In Da Club' Hits Incredible 2 Billion Streams Milestone!

50 Cent's iconic Get Rich or Die Tryin’ anthem, "In Da Club," has achieved a jaw-dropping milestone, surpassing two billion streams on Spotify! According to uDiscoverMusic, this remarkable feat has been accomplished by fewer than 300 other songs in history.

Released in January 2003 as the lead single from his groundbreaking album, "In Da Club" skyrocketed to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, marking 50's debut at the top of the charts. This track remains one of the standout hits of his career, earning a Diamond certification from the RIAA.

With production by the legendary Dr. Dre and Mike Elizondo, the song was originally offered to Eminem's hip-hop group D12, who famously turned it down. 50 Cent rode the wave of success with "In Da Club," receiving nominations for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song at the 46th Grammy Awards.

Additionally, the accompanying music video was a massive hit, contributing to 50 Cent’s accolades, including Best Rap Video and Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. With over 2.5 billion views on YouTube, the song's popularity shows no signs of waning.

50 Cent Was 2025's Most-Streamed New York Rapper

But the success doesn't stop at just "In Da Club"; 50's entire music catalog has been lighting up streaming platforms. He wrapped up 2025 as the most-streamed New York rapper on YouTube. Celebrating this victory, he humorously addressed his followers on Instagram: "I thought we got over this guys, it is the way it is. LOL.”

Fans are buzzing with anticipation for new music from 50 Cent, as he teased responding to Maino, Fabolous, Jim Jones, and Dave East's diss track, "Squatters," before kicking off 2026. In his Instagram post, he mentioned, "Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity. I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end." This comes after a public feud concerning his Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which the group critiqued on their podcast, Let’s Rap About It.
