Arc Raiders emerged as a standout title in 2025, and Embark Studios is determined to maintain that success in 2026. The team has announced plans for multiple new maps and a forthcoming content roadmap.
Design lead Virgil Watkins revealed in a recent interview, "There are going to be multiple maps coming this year. I think it's going to be across a spectrum of size to facilitate different types of gameplay. Expect to see smaller maps alongside even grander ones than what we have now."
While specific features of the new maps remain under wraps, Watkins hinted at innovative experiences linked to changing conditions, diverse enemy types, and improved loot mechanics.
