Arc Raiders may have surpassed 12 million sales at the start of 2026, according to video game industry analysts.
Rhys Elliot from Alinea Analytics reported that the game achieved this milestone through combined sales across PC, Xbox, and PS5. Notably, January 4th marked the game's largest day for daily active users, with about 3.2 million players engaging across all platforms.
Elliot elaborated that the surge in daily active users was fueled by a well-timed discount coinciding with the Christmas holidays. In a post on Bluesky, he stated: "Daily copies sold started to stabilize by early December, but a well-timed 20 percent discount across all platforms - and the holiday boost - reversed that."
Alinea Analytics, while lacking internal data from Embark Studios, has demonstrated a track record of accuracy in estimating game sales. They previously recorded when Arc Raiders surpassed 2.5 million sales and accurately noted that Battlefield 6 crossed 7 million sales just five days post-launch. Thus, while such estimates should be viewed with caution, they are often reliable.
Additionally, Elliot highlighted other noteworthy metrics from Alinea's estimates, revealing that over 50 percent of players are on Steam. They also suggested that passing the 12 million sales threshold has likely generated at least $350 million in revenue.
Arc Raiders appears to maintain its robust momentum since its launch last year, having been confirmed as the best-selling game during the holiday season. Ongoing updates and information about the game, including its intense matchmaking system, continue to engage players.
