Arc Raiders has just released a brief yet impactful update in January, aimed at nerfing two notorious weapons: the Trigger 'Nade and Kettle. The developers at Embark Studios recognized the need for these adjustments in their 1.11.0 update details.
As stated by Embark, the Kettle's fire rate was previously capped at 600, a level easily achieved by players exploiting macros for unfair advantage. Following the update, this has been reduced to a maximum fire rate of 450.
In a similar vein, the Trigger 'Nade has been notoriously dominating PvP scenarios, leading players to primarily rely on it over other grenades. To balance gameplay, its damage radius has been focused closer to the explosion's center, while the detonation time has been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, providing opponents with a better chance to counter its usage.
