Arsenal has been linked with a potential move for Quinten Timber, the twin brother of Jurrien Timber.
The phenomenon of siblings achieving success in the Premier League is well-documented, with iconic pairs such as Gary and Phil Neville leading the way from their time at Manchester United.
Also notable are Yaya and Kolo Toure, with Kolo making a significant impact during his 326 appearances for Arsenal.
Arsenal Evaluates Signing Quinten Timber
Recent speculation highlights Arsenal's interest in adding another sibling duo to their roster. Vincent Schildkamp, an ESPN pundit, revealed the news on his Voetbalpraat show.
Speaking about the future of the Feyenoord player, he mentioned that Italian club Lazio is also keen, stating, “I can help but feel that agreements have already been made with bigger clubs than Lazio.”
He continues, “He’ll probably have some adjustment issues, but I think he can fit into Arsenal’s midfield.”
“Surely Jurrien will tell his manager that he has a really good twin brother? If he’s going to extend his own contract in England, should he just mention in passing that his twin brother can be picked up for free this summer?”
With Quinten's contract set to expire with Feyenoord this summer, he is now free to negotiate with clubs abroad. His name has previously surfaced in connections to West Ham United.
While the narrative of signing brothers is appealing, Quinten’s potential fit within Arsenal’s already crowded midfield raises questions. Competing for minutes against established players and rising talents may pose a challenge for the Niger-born midfielder.
Quinten Timber carries a market value of €25 million, as per Transfermarkt.
