Plarium, the developer behind the free-to-play mobile and PC title Raid: Shadow Legends, has officially announced a major collaboration with Ubisoft's popular franchise, Assassin's Creed. This exciting crossover begins today and will last until April 8, allowing players to engage with some of their favorite assassins.
As part of the event, players can explore a new dungeon and unlock legendary characters such as Ezio Auditore, Edward Kenway, Kassandra, Bayek, and Basim Ibn Ishaq, each bringing their unique skills and intriguing storylines from the beloved series.
Ronen Gross, VP of business development at Plarium, expressed that they collaborated closely with Ubisoft to faithfully integrate the assassins within Raid: Shadow Legends. He stated, "Working with such a renowned IP set a high creative bar for us, yet the tone and variety of Assassin's Creed world-building made the crossover feel naturally aligned with Raid."
Unlocking the Assassin’s Creed heroes can be done in various ways:
- Ezio: Obtainable for free through the Loyalty Program on the 7th day of login, with additional rewards available over 14 days, including an Ezio avatar and in-game resources.
- Kassandra: Accessible via a Fusion Event from January 8 to January 24, and subsequently obtainable through Shards until April 8, with certain in-game events required for resource gathering.
- Edward Kenway, Bayek, and Basim: Available through Shards and limited-time events during the collaboration period.
It's important to note that although the crossover is temporary, any characters unlocked during this period will remain in players' collections even after the event concludes.
Players can download Raid: Shadow Legends for free on mobile devices via the App Store, Google Play, and Aptoide, or on PC through the Microsoft Store, Epic Store, Steam, and Plarium Play.
In related news, the Assassin's Creed franchise continues to grow, with several new projects on the horizon, including the mobile title Assassin's Creed Jade, the unique simulator Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, a multiplayer title akin to Fall Guys, and another series installment designed for Netflix. The latest entry, Assassin's Creed Shadows, released in 2025.
