Escalating the fight with new threats on the battlefield.
Season 2 begins February 17.
Since its launch in October 2025, Battlefield 6 had a strong debut, even surpassing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in US sales through November. However, the sentiment has experienced a shift, as recent reviews on Steam have changed from "Mostly Positive" to "Mixed." Concerns have been raised regarding microtransactions and the game's incorporation of generative AI.
It's yet to be revealed how Battlefield Studios will adapt the Season 2 content roadmap based on the community's feedback. While we currently lack details on the specifics of Season 2, fans are hopeful for the introduction of new maps, guns, modes, and more.
