Chrisean Rock has officially traded street scrapes for the ring, confirming her pro boxing debut! After a tumultuous year, the star has signed a contract with XRumble Fighting Championships to compete in the first-ever female Super Middleweight Championship on April 25 at Harrah's Philadelphia Casino.
Accompanied by her son Chrisean Jr. and manager Kimberly Ross, Rock met with XRumble's Damon Feldman to finalize her deal. The news was shared enthusiastically on her social media platforms, showcasing her excitement for this new chapter.
Feldman revealed that Rock has been honing her skills under the guidance of Gervonta Davis' former coach, Calvin Ford, and she is bursting with positivity. "Beyond grateful… my first boxing deal is finally done @xrumble_fighting_. Thank you Jesus, thank you to my manager @kimberlyrossofficial and to my legendary coach @coachcalvinford for the love, patience, and belief,” she expressed on Instagram.
Has Chrisean Rock Boxed Before?
Fans might recall a recent incident during a stream with Ryan Garcia, where an accidental punch added a splash of drama. However, no harm was done, and they both handled it with humor.
In this latest venture, Rock is diving deep into boxing, sharing training sessions that showcase her dedication. Unlike her former partner Blueface, who had some semi-pro bouts, Chrisean seems ready to prove herself in a more official capacity.
This exciting transition could lead to a more focused lifestyle for Rock or perhaps ignite even more thrilling stories. In any event, all eyes will be on how she navigates her debut in the boxing world!
