Sid Meier's Civilization 7 Arcade Edition is set to launch on Apple Arcade on February 5, bringing this acclaimed 4X strategy experience to iPhone, iPad, and Mac users. There are currently no plans for an Android version.
First released last February for PC and consoles, Civilization 7 allows players to navigate their civilization through various historical eras. The mobile version will offer comparable content to its PC and console counterparts, ensuring a robust gameplay experience rather than a stripped-down iteration.
One of the standout features of the Civilization 7 Arcade Edition is its user interface, specifically designed to optimize touch controls for mobile devices, making gameplay smoother than ever.
The port was developed by Behaviour Interactive, known for their prior work on titles like Dead by Daylight and Fallout Shelter.
Civilization 7 Arcade Edition is not the only new title debuting on Apple Arcade; on the same day, players can also look forward to the retro game collection Retrocade, the rhythm game Felicity's Door, and an ad-free version of I Love Hue Too. Additionally, a Paddington-themed event will arrive in Apple Arcade's Crayola Create and Play+ on January 22.
