Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has taken a monumental step in his personal life, marrying his long-time partner Dee Devlin in an enchanting ceremony held at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abissini in Vatican City. The much-anticipated nuptials took place in December 2025, marking a beautiful new chapter for the couple.

McGregor and Devlin, proud parents of four children, delighted their fans by sharing glimpses of their magical day on Instagram. McGregor, who had been engaged to Devlin since 2020, expressed his heartwarming reflections about the divine timing of their wedding, which he described as orchestrated by a higher power.

Celebrating Love and Family

The Instagram posts released on January 12, 2026, showcased the couple's undeniable chemistry. Surrounded by stunning floral arrangements, the lovebirds were seen radiating joy, with several family moments featuring their adorable children, making it a lively family celebration. McGregor's fitting caption echoed his awe about the wedding's timing, noting that they exchanged vows at the striking hour of 12:12 PM on December 12, 2025.

In reflecting on these significant details, he stated that he felt “the wedding bug” after undergoing trauma treatment prior to the ceremony, feeling grateful for what he perceived as signs of 'divine orchestration' surrounding their special day.

The Journey to the Altar

It all began back in 2008 when McGregor and Devlin first met at a Dublin nightclub, where a spark ignited between the pair, leading to a rich and enduring relationship. Over the years, they expanded their family with the arrivals of their first child in 2017, followed by a second in 2019, and two more in 2023. McGregor's proposal came on Devlin's 33rd birthday in August 2020, and five years later, the couple shared their vows.

However, leading up to this blissful occasion, McGregor faced challenges in his professional career, including an 18-month suspension relating to UFC anti-doping rules. The fallout from these events meant he hadn't stepped into the Octagon since July 2021, but he's recently returned to the testing pool and could make a comeback at a highly anticipated UFC event in June 2026.

Future in the Octagon

With his suspension concluding soon, the stage is set for McGregor's potential return to UFC, after a tumultuous chapter in his life, both personally and professionally.
