Windows in Hytale are currently the closest you can come to crafting glass to enhance your builds.
Although glass is not yet available in Hytale, you can create windows to let light into your creations, giving them a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The first step is to gather plenty of wood.

How to Create Windows in Hytale
To craft windows in Hytale, you need a Builder's Workbench along with some wood. Start by collecting 6 Logs and any 3 Stones to build the workbench. Logs can be obtained by striking trees with a Hatchet tool. Once you've gathered enough materials, go out and collect more wood by chopping trees with your Hatchet.
With both items ready, input any type of wood into the workbench and select 'Window' from the available menu. All that's left is to hit 'Craft', and you'll have your window!
The type of wood used in the Builder's Workbench will determine the style of window you create. For instance, using common wood types typically yields the 'Crude Window'.
