Hotel Outfits in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are part of the Resort Hotel added in the 3.0 update.
What will set your guests apart from the rest of your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Exclusive matching outfits, of course! After assisting Leilani for a bit, you'll get the chance to become a fashion designer and create outfits that all your guests will be eager to wear.
Here's how to make and use Hotel Outfits in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
How to make Hotel Outfits in Animal Crossing New Horizons
To create Hotel Outfits, you need to interact with the mannequins in the Hotel Lobby. Complete a few tasks for Leilani first, as they won't be accessible until you do.
Once unlocked, approach the mannequin you'd like to dress and select the 'Change Outfit' option.
You will then access the Hotel Outfit menu displaying all the clothing items you possess or have ever purchased (including those you've given away or sold). Piece together an outfit just as you would from your wardrobe—it's that straightforward!
There are specific pieces added for you to utilize, although custom designs cannot currently be used to create Hotel Outfits.
Once satisfied with your creation, press the 'plus +' button to confirm and save your outfit. It will then be showcased on the mannequin until you decide to change it again.
How to use Hotel Outfits in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Hotel Outfits are tailored outfits you can customize for hotel guests. This helps them stand out among the Villagers while exploring your island. Guests will automatically select their outfits from the two available choices.
Both you and visiting players can also borrow these outfits. Simply walk up to the mannequin housing the outfit you want and select 'Borrow Outfit.'
You will then instantly don that outfit, with whatever you were wearing beneath it becoming invisible.
To return the Hotel Outfit, walk up to the mannequin and select the 'Return Outfit' option. Alternatively, you can open your pockets and click the blue icon next to your Bell count to confirm the return. It’s that simple!
That's all for now! If you're seeking more assistance in New Horizons, check out guides on utilizing Slumber Islands, accessing Resetti's Reset Service, and the top five initial tasks in version 3.0.
