DJ Akademiks Dismantles J. Cole's Latest Track in Brutal Critique

In a bold move, DJ Akademiks has turned the spotlight on J. Cole's new single "Disc 2 Track 2" from the highly anticipated album The Fall-Off. Despite J. Cole's efforts to keep the peace without dissing anyone, it seems Akademiks couldn't hold back his criticisms.

During a recent livestream, DJ Akademiks unleashed a scathing review, echoing past critiques of the Dreamville chief's place in the ongoing rap rivalries with artists like Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

"This s**t is jokes, man, I'm not listening to this bulls**t," exclaimed Akademiks. "Cole got to cut it out... It's still not too late to delete this s**t! You got to change a couple of lines, talking about 'the best alive and what you hear now is work.' What the f**k are you talking about? Yo, Cole, we f**k with you and everything. But you a vegan rapper, bro. Best alive at what? Riding a bicycle? This is a contact sport, this is hip-hop..."

With another hit, he continued, "Cole, maybe your daddy a killer, but you just like Bronny James, man. That's how we're looking at you. It's over. We just want to hear you rap about a boring-a** day... You're not involved in these conversations no more, man, you're Lil Tecca, bruh. No diss to Tecca..."

When Is J. Cole's The Fall-Off Coming Out?

Akademiks didn't stop there; he sniped at the competitive landscape, calling any rapper partnering with J. Cole a "goofy" and likening their competition to youth basketball leagues. Overall, his disappointment in Cole's artistry resounded, stating he missed the mark in challenging major players like Kendrick and Drake when it mattered.

He even dubbed the North Carolina lyricist as "the rap [Joe] Biden" and an "impossible burger," wishing for a J. Cole who would write with more conviction, recalling a time when he believed Cole outshone the competition.

As anticipation builds for The Fall-Off on February 6, many are left wondering if J. Cole can turn the tide and prove his critics, including DJ Akademiks, wrong. Will he shatter the stereotype of the "vegan rapper" this time around?
