Drake vs. Brandon Jennings: A Heated NBA Exchange Over Canadian Players!

Brandon Jennings is stirring the pot with some audacious claims about Canadian talent in the NBA, and let’s just say, Drake isn't having it. The former New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks guard let loose his blunt thoughts on Gil's Arena, insinuating that 'Canada or Toronto players' are 'soft', specifically naming notable stars like Jamal Murray and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

As Jennings expressed, "I feel like once you get up in them and you physical, and once you figure them out... I think they gon' back down." Challenge accepted, right?

But Jennings didn't stop there. He cheekily compared his critique to the famous rivalry between Kendrick Lamar and Drake: "It's like the Kendrick and Drake beef. Once you boom one of them, they gon' lay down. That's just me looking at what I think is gon' happen in the future.” His words surely set off some alarms!

And of course, Drake had to react. He trolled Jennings on Instagram with some throwback photos of the two together, asking, "Boom what?!?" in one post and tagging Gilgeous-Alexander in another with the caption, "@shai [three loudly crying emojis] boom what??"

What's The Latest On Drake's ICEMAN?

Jennings, 36, appeared unfazed by Drake’s playful jabs. In fact, he’s been enjoying the banter, responding with excitement about Drake's upcoming album, ICEMAN. He teased, "Boom what? Bounce back time ICEMAN [fire emoji]" alongside a snapshot of Drake in a Knicks jersey.

Speaking of the album, anticipation is building as DJ Akademiks hinted that Drake’s ninth studio album is on the verge of dropping. Tweeting out, "The IceMan is coming," he stirred fans into a frenzy, even though no official release date, cover art, or track listing has been announced yet. However, the rapper has reassured followers that he’s hard at work on a special holiday stream alongside BenDaDonnn.

Moreover, word from a plastic surgeon with ties to the artist suggests that the intro for the album is all wrapped up and ready! Fans are on high alert for what’s next!
