Eidos Montreal's New Project May Resemble Cancelled Open-World Title Wild

The development team at Eidos Montreal, known for its work on Deus Ex: Human Revolution, is reportedly working on a big-budget game that could be reminiscent of the canceled project Wild. Insider sources have revealed that this unannounced title is codenamed P11 and has been in the works since 2019.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, P11 aims to build upon the concepts that were initially explored in the defunct Ubisoft game. However, there have been notable challenges in its development journey. In 2024, the Embracer Group discontinued a previously planned Deus Ex title and eliminated 97 positions at the Eidos Montreal studio, which was followed by an additional 75 layoffs last year.
