Hi-Fi Rush, the latest game from Tango Gameworks, is set for a special re-release in collaboration with Limited Run Games.
Pre-orders will be available from January 16 until March 1 for the Hi-Fi Rush Rhythm Edition, which includes the deluxe version of the game and three exclusive DLC costumes: Bossplay, Traditional Garb, and Teamplay. This edition will be accessible for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
Fans looking for something more can opt for the Hi-Fi Rush Smidge Edition, featuring the same deluxe game and DLC costumes, a three-disc soundtrack, developer notes, and a custom box inspired by the game's tutorial robot. Additionally, it includes various in-game skins and gear for gameplay enhancements.
For the most dedicated fans, the Project Armstrong Edition offers everything in the Smidge Edition along with an 808 plush, a miniature replica of Chai's guitar, a Chai Project Armstrong pass, a glow-in-the-dark MP3 player pin, a hard cover art book, and an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
Pre-orders for both the Smidge and Project Armstrong Editions will coincide with the Rhythm Edition. The prices are $39.99 for the Rhythm Edition, $69.99 for the Smidge Edition, and $174.99 for the Project Armstrong Edition.
Hi-Fi Rush experienced a remarkable journey since its surprise launch in 2023, receiving critical acclaim. However, following the release, developer Tango Gameworks faced challenges as it was shut down by Microsoft amid broader cutbacks. Fortunately, Krafton acquired the studio afterward, and late last year, they announced their commitment to becoming an 'AI-first company.'
