A recent report unveils intriguing details about upcoming unannounced titles from Xbox, including a remake of the classic Fallout: New Vegas, a StarCraft shooter, and a new Warcraft offering.
According to Windows Central, a remake of Obsidian's beloved 2010 RPG is underway, alongside talks of a Fallout 3 remake. This is not the end of Bethesda’s plans, as the report hints at id Software working on a new Wolfenstein title to align with the upcoming Wolfenstein TV adaptation for Prime Video.
Machine Games creative director Axel Torvenius has hinted at the franchise's continuation, stating, "We have always seen this as a [Wolfenstein] trilogy. We still had the plan for that character." Before, Kotaku also confirmed that a third Wolfenstein game is in development.
Bethesda’s Todd Howard previously mentioned significant upcoming Fallout revelations, claiming it is the series they're focusing on the most at present.
The report also suggests that a new mobile game set in the Warcraft universe could be in its early stages, and an exciting new StarCraft third-person shooter may be unveiled at BlizzCon this September.
2026 marks the 35th anniversary of Blizzard, as noted by company president Johanna Faries, who announced that the year would be their "biggest yet," coinciding with Bethesda's 40th anniversary this year.
While we anticipate an Xbox Developer Direct soon, details on what it might include remain sparse. Rumors also suggest Ninja Theory is developing a more combat-focused title than their previous works, and a new Call of Duty could be heading to Switch 2 this year.
The specifics surrounding these projects are still under wraps, but stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
