Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will receive a significant update for PC and PS5 on January 22. This patch will introduce an incredibly easy mode that was previously announced for the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, ensuring consistency across all platforms for this beloved RPG.
The official Final Fantasy VII account shared the news on X, highlighting the update as a celebration of the game’s launch on Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. Included in the Streamlined Progression options are features that allow players to deal a constant 9,999 damage or max out their HP. Additionally, players can enable double EXP or maximum Gil, giving them the freedom to customize their gameplay experience significantly.
Last month, fans got a taste of the action as a demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released on Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, allowing players to experience the entirety of the first chapter and transfer their progress to the full version launching next week.
Switch 2 users should note that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will require a minimum of 90GB of storage space, which is nearly 30% of the system’s internal capacity. The game originally launched on PS4 in 2020 before making its way to PS5 and PC in 2021, now featuring the Intergrade title and a story expansion centered around Yuffie.
