Armor is a crucial element in Hytale, providing protection and enhancing your character's visual appeal during adventures in dark caves or night explorations. While many players have already learned how to create basic armor, there are numerous advanced options available that offer greater defense against hostile mobs.

The guide below details all currently available armor crafting recipes in Hytale. Please note that some armors featured in Creative mode may not yet be accessible in Survival, paralleling the weapons guide.

How to Craft Armor in Hytale

When you check your character's inventory in Hytale, you will notice four slots designated for armor: Helm, Gauntlets, Cuirass, and Greaves. Interestingly, there is no dedicated slot for boots, which might be introduced in a future update. Additionally, there is a slot for a shield, though we won't be covering the crafting recipes for shields here.

Before you embark on your armor crafting journey, ensure you have the appropriate Workbench. All armor pieces can be crafted at an Armorer's Workbench, but higher-tier armor may require tier two or tier three workbenches.
