A new Developer Direct stream from Xbox is set to air next week, promising an in-depth look at Forza Horizon 6, the upcoming installment in the popular open-world driving series, which will explore the vibrant landscapes of Japan. However, it appears that some details may have leaked ahead of time.
A user on X/Twitter, known as XBOX INFINITE, claims to have uncovered an early promotional screenshot for Forza Horizon 6, reportedly featuring pre-order bonuses. This image popped up following their exit from the garage in Forza Horizon 5, suggesting a potential sneak peek into the next game.
The screenshot showcases breathtaking art of the new environment players can expect in the next Horizon Festival. Additionally, pre-order bonuses reportedly include a pre-tuned, exclusive Ferrari J50 for Forza Horizon 6. Players can also anticipate an impressive lineup of "over 550 real-world cars" at launch, and the largest open-world experience in the series so far. The Premium Edition is said to offer Early Access on May 15, with an official launch on May 19, alongside various membership bonuses and post-launch content including the Italian Passion Car Pack and two Premium expansions.
While neither Xbox nor Playground Games has confirmed these details, it's not uncommon for early in-game pop-ups to hint at upcoming content, leading many to believe someone may have accidentally revealed too soon.
Forza Horizon 6 is expected to launch exclusively on Xbox Series X/S and PC (Windows and Steam), with a potential PS5 version likely in the future, as its predecessor has achieved significant sales on Sony's console.
