Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is being targeted by two major clubs in Italy’s Serie A.
Since joining Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, Jesus has faced numerous injury setbacks, including a significant knee injury that sidelined him for almost all of 2025.
He made his Premier League return in December, coming off the bench to score against Aston Villa and help secure victory at the Emirates Stadium. This week, he netted two goals in a Champions League match against Inter Milan, marking a strong return to form.
Gabriel Jesus Could Leave Arsenal for Italy
Recently, news emerged that despite previous interest from Inter Milan, rival clubs Juventus and AC Milan are keen on signing the Brazilian forward.
“As his contract nears an end, the Brazilian is expected to be available, with both Juventus and AC Milan poised to take advantage,” reports Calciomercato.
“AC Milan's plans could be jeopardized if Dusan Vlahovic doesn't arrive, while Juventus is closely monitoring the striker's situation. Gabriel Jesus' estimated price tag, given his contract status, would be around €20 million.”
It appears an extension to Jesus’ contract is unlikely. Arsenal has shown willingness to explore other options, especially since last summer when Flamengo discussed a potential return for the player as he recovered from his injury.
Reports suggested a loan to the Brazilian club was on the table to aid in his rehabilitation after his cruciate knee ligament injury.
“Flamengo is expected to propose a one-season loan agreement, allowing them to buy him at the end of the term,” according to RTI Esporte.
Jesus intended to return to Brazilian football to regain his form, eyeing a place on the radar of Brazil's national head coach Carlo Ancelotti leading into the 2026 World Cup.
As of now, with his recovery completed in London, Jesus made his comeback in the Champions League and has since seen limited action in the Premier League.
Following his two-goal performance in Milan, Mikel Arteta may consider giving him a starting position when Arsenal faces Manchester United this Sunday.
