Max Monday is a weekly Pokémon Go event where a featured Dynamax Pokémon appears in every Power Spot for an hour, from 6pm to 7pm (local time). This is an excellent opportunity for trainers to engage in Max Battles, adding powerful Pokémon to their team or earning Candy for upgrades.
Max Mondays, along with Spotlight Hour and Raid Hour, are part of the scheduled Pokémon Go activities. While Spotlight Hour is every Tuesday and Raid Hour every Wednesday, Max Mondays, unsurprisingly, take place on Mondays. This gives trainers three fun Pokémon Go activities to look forward to at the start of each week.

How to Prepare for a Max Monday in Pokémon Go
Preparing for Max Monday is essential for anyone who intends to participate. First, ensure that you have at least one Dynamax Pokémon; without it, you won’t be able to engage in Max Battles. Most players have likely obtained this through the Special Research quest 'To The Max!', which provides Pokémon like Dynamax Wooloo and Skwovet.
Regardless of your experience level, it’s recommended to gather at least 1000 Max Particles before the event. This will enable you to dive right into battles and accumulate more Max Particles during the event, increasing your Max Battle opportunities. Winning against a one-star Dynamax Pokémon, for instance, will require only 250 Max Particles, allowing you to battle up to four times if you come prepared.
Remember that Max Particles are only consumed upon winning a battle, so you won't be left in a tight spot if you encounter challenges.
Stocking up on Razz and Pinap Berries is also advisable. Razz Berries simplify Pokemon captures, great for expanding your Dynamax roster, while Pinap Berries double your catch Candy, aiding in boosting your Pokémon’s capabilities. Having adequate Potions and Revives on hand keeps your Dynamax Pokémon healthy through battles.
