- Select the 'Switch to Desktop' option found by pressing the power button on your Steam Deck.
- Download the Linux Launcher for Hytale from the game's official website.
- Double click the Hytale Flatpak launcher located in your 'Downloads' folder or from your browser download notification.
- Select 'Install from Local Bundle' in the top right-hand corner. You may need to enter your Steam OS password.
If you haven't set this password, visit 'System Settings', scroll down to 'Users' and select 'Change Password'. Enter your password and select 'Leave Unchanged'.
- Select 'Launch' once the download is finished.
- After the launcher loads, click 'Sign In'.
- This will open your web browser where you need to sign in using your preferred method. You will need to enter a code that will be emailed to you for authentication.
- Hytale should now launch.
- Click 'Accept' for the End-User License Agreement.

- Find the Hytale Launcher and right-click using the L2 button.

The Hytale Launcher should now appear on your Steam Deck in Gaming Mode, allowing you to launch the game directly!
