The next game in the Life is Strange series is set for an unveiling later this month.
The Life is Strange team has scheduled a livestream on YouTube for January 20th at 6 PM UK time, which translates to 10 AM PST, 1 PM EST, and 7 PM CET for international audiences.
"Separate the real from the rumour... Join us for the exclusive reveal of the next Life is Strange game," the official YouTube video description states. This announcement follows a recent PEGI listing indicating that another Life is Strange installment is underway.
Reports indicate that fan-favorites Chloe Price and Max Caulfield will appear in the upcoming game, titled Reunion.
"Chloe Price was Max Caulfield's partner in time… Losing her is Max's greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max's help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus," is how the game is outlined on the PEGI website.

The most recent entry in the series, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, debuted in November 2024, although it was met with significant backlash from fans who were dissatisfied with the treatment of returning character Max Caulfield and the implications of player choices in the original game.
Double Exposure reportedly resulted in financial losses for Square Enix, which was compounded by layoffs at developer Deck Nine. CEO Mark Lyons remarked at the time, "This was an extremely difficult decision and reflects the challenging times our industry is currently facing."
